Help with f/m/t stronghold

I was wondering if anyone knew or remembered how to get all three strongholds at once? I know there is a way to do this, I've done it before, something like not finishing one and moving on to another, and in a proper order...Does anyone know how to accomplish this WITHOUT downloading mods?

I know there is a way to do it, however, cause I don't use mods and I had done it before a couple years back....Thanks!

The site owner tries to prevent duplication of questions in the database, so do an advanced search on "strongholds." You'll find plenty of advice on it, and if you still have questions about that specifically, post them in the appropriate threads.
