Problems with Cromwell

I have the WeiDU "Item-upgrade"-mod installed, so now when I spoke to Cromwell with shadow dragon scales in my backpack, he would no longer offer to forge me the shadowdragon scale-armor. Is this a commonly known bug, and is there anything to be done about it other than removing the mod?

Are you sure you're choosing the right options. He offers all the new stuff first, but option #1 (or 2, I'm not sure) is to look through your inventory for "other" stuff.

The other option is something like "got on with it then" and is apparently the one one is supposed to choose, but when I do, I only get the option (#8) "There is nothing here that I want" or something like it. That being the only available dialogue-option, the dialouge ends. Could it be that I don't have ToB?

I don't think you need ToB for the SoA portion. Is this a new game, or are you continuing from a previous save? I had to restart after installing.

There is little bug with that, you have to press twice "1", if you want that Cromwell checks your staff. It works for me at least.
