I..uh.. misjudged the amount of time it'd take for me to get there, then couldn't find the room. :D

Ah well, didn't miss anything too vital. Just a waste of time and money :o :p

Wasn't a proper lecture anyway, just the induction. I'll cope. :p

It's good practice for tomorrow anyway. :D

It's not so much funny as expensive. :D ;)

Yeah, I still have to go in tomorrow. For something called PDP, though I'm not sure if it applies to me. Last year I think it was for the postgraduate students.

Haven't done that much else really, the trip takes quite a lot of the day up. Played Fable before going, which is good. Nice to have a different game to play too. :)

Managed to read about 1/2 of quite a new book on the train, maybe order a few new books soon. I can't really carry a hardback book on the train, especially if I try to read it while standing, far too heavy :(

That and trying to drum up support for the Sterwick D&D campaign really.
That's enough excitement for one day. ;)
you've been there before, right?

Yeah, you'd think I'd know better by now.
I knew the train would take about 1hr15 and thought I could catch a later train. Turns out I was wrong. *shrugs* :p

Then when I got there I had to find room QA080. That's the Queen Anne building, ground floor (the first number counts for the floor). But finding the room wasn't any good. Especially with the signs leading me round in circles. :p

Okay, don't know how long I'll be around now though. I'll be around longer in a few hours really. Probably about half an hour now.

I'll have to get the hang of Greenwich signposts. :p
Didn't help that a big group of people blocked one corridor and someone sent me off in some direction to find the room but that didn't really help. Damn maze! :D

I found a map, it just wasn't very useful. :D
Signposts and maps, AAH! :p
By the time I found a map I'd lost most of my interest in finding the room. I was already 30/40 mins late.

Hopefully I'll have better luck finding a room on the floor above tomorrow.

Finding new rooms is always a pain. After managing to sort out when to leave
tomorrow I should be about 30 mins early. That's just in case of any train problems. Should be leaving in the rush hour though, so I should get there a bit earlier.

So how's your day so far? :p

They didn't give you a load of anaesthetic? I think I remember being given that stuff and one side of her mouth being numb for ages. :p

You'll probably wish it was quiet when it changes... :D
