Nosforatu question

Post by SoberFix »

Hey guys, new to the forum, just became a full fledged member after months of guest status,...joy.

Being playing VTMBloodlines for the past month or so, and honestly have to say it is one the best games I've played in a long time.

I'm playing through the game for the forth time now, now as a Nosferatu, and like the extra challenge that comes with being a "sewer rat".

I'm a bit stumped at the moment and the walkthrough didn't cover it very well. On the Elizabeth Dayne, I've explored the crime scene and retrieved the Cargo Manifest, but I'm having troubles finding the Police Report.

Previous times, as a Ventrue, Malk, and Tremere, only had to talk to the cop to gain the item. The walkthrough mentioned the Police Report elsewhere on the ship, but it didn't explain exactly where. Anyone care to point me in the right direction? FYI-I don't spend any experience points on Inspection, so no hidden items won't be specially marked.

Couple other questions

When asked of "Who the Head Vampire is?" by the Thin Blood after selling the holy stake to him, does answering "Nines Rodriguez" or "Prince LaCroix" have any ill effect later in the game or do any of the two characters mention the fact some Thin Blood tried staking him afterwards? I'll always answered The President for some reason, only out of fear that Nines or LaCroix find out it was me, and become disgusted with me, therefore not being able to aquire the Skyline Apt or having Nines teach me fighting skills. I guess any answer you give the Thin Blood will result in the same outcome, but I was just curious.

I've never played the real VM RPG, but since playing Bloodlines, I found the clans and sects interesting. Did my homework on Tzimices(sp), etc etc. The character Pisha in Bloodlines, she's not actually a vampire, but the RPG never mentioned any clan or sect that remotely resembles her "condition" as far as eating her victims. Just wondering...Necromancer maybe? Heh...

thanx in advance

"Did you get the money back?" asked Mercurio

"My hands are as empty as the thoughts in my head" answered the Malk :)

There is a copy of the Police report out on the deck, I believe near the sarcophagus, though it's been months since I've been out there looking for it. Anybody with more recent experience?

You can send the thin blood after anybody - it makes no difference. For myself, I always send him after Lacriox.

Pisha belongs to a line called Nagaraja, spawned by the Euthanatos mages who found out how to become vampires without being embraced. The official documentation refers to them as 'scarce' and describes them as very insular and xenophobic, even among themselves.

If my memory serves me well, it's on a small table, between the last and one but last container before the sarcophagus.

I restarted the mission on the Dayne, and viola, the police report was waiting for me on the desk out by the Sarcophagus. I can't believe I didn't see it the first time. Probably my distraction useing obfuscate and trying to avoid the 5-O's made me miss it.

Thanks for the info on the Nagarajas, Fyre. They sound like my kinda clan, xenophobic. Too bad Bloodlines didn't give you the option of playing as one of these. Come to think of it, the offical VM material I've come across on the www didn't mention anything about the keu-jin either.

Thanks again.
