TuTu: Green water

Post by Stilgar »

Well i got myself a new PC a week ago, so I started playing Baldur's Gate 1 again :D .
This time i tried out BG:TuTu.

Everything runs and looks fine, except water, it is suddenly green.
But it still has the texture of the water (IE: you can see the bottom of the fountain/pond a little).

Anyone any idea what to do about this, although it isn't a big problem.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

That's odd. The fixpack was designed to fix things like that. Did you get version 13?

Maybe that's the problem, rolling the graphics card drivers back may fix it.

And just be glad that you aren't expected to swim in any rivers :p .

But seriously, I've had times when things have just gone weird, I've had times where for some reason the person's sprite didn't show up and I just had to kill a circle on the ground  . As long as everything progresses, you can still go on, it can just be annoying, but you will get used to it.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Go to this site. The tutu fixpack v13 has an option that "De-greenifies" the water at the very end of the options to be installed.

TuTu is a mod that let's you play Baldur's Gate 1 with the Baldur's Gate 2 engine. Including better resolution, the kit's, pressing tab to lightup boxes etc.
You do need to have both games installed to run it.

And welcome to the forum!

Yes it does, but not with the BG2 rate (pickijng 2locks would get you from level 1 to 2 if that where the case).
I think you get 20-50 exp per lock
