Craig,

**SPOILERS**

There are TWO riddles in the first level of the asylum dungeon. If you take the north exit from the platform where you pick up Imoen, you will find a room to your left. That room has chest in the middle full of nick-nacks and a bunch of statues...each with a riddle written on them. Place the correct nick-nack from the chest (that best represents the answer to the riddle), and if you get them all correct, you get some nice items in the chest (the game banshee walkthrough describes this in more detail).

In addition if you were to continue down the hall (and not enter the room), you will find a bunch of statues in a ring. Go to each statue and manipulate it. You will be asked 12 riddles (one for each statue with a visible mouth). Get all 12 right and you get a ring of regeneration. Again the Gamebanshee walkthrough can describe in more detail.

I hope this helps.

The portal was for the doom plate. That's what those funny gems were for.....

Polaris, you are sick and evil. I like that in a peron, for it reminds me of me.
