I'm trying to find the iron ring to give to Grimgnaw but don't know where it is. Anybody know?

IIRC the ring can be found in one of the houses before you get to the Blacklake district near the entrance to that area (where all the diseased thugs and rabid dogs are).

As a rule of thumb, explore everything. Sometimes you'll find something really good in a dead-end or some place you never considered
