Can't play SoA after installing TOB

Post by Boabdilking »

I have TOB installed but want to go back to SOA. When I click on the SOA button it says insert disc 2, after doing so ( I have tried two different disc 2's because I have the english and U.S version) it doesn't work and continues to say insert disc 2. Is there a patch I should download? If I re-install is there a way I can safely save my character files?

Thanks in advance

Have you downloaded the official patch or the baldurdash fix?

I have both the official patch for tob and baldurdash. Should I install an soa patch? How can I uninstall and save my character files safely?

Just move your save file to your desktop and uninstall/reinstall. Then place the save file back in the soa/tob folder and enjoy.

No you dont need the soa patch, if you have ToB you just need ToB patch and baldurdash.
