alignment change from hell--*spoiler*

Post by greg28j »

Instead of roleplaying and choosing the good paths (my PC is neutral),I choose the evil path to all trials except pride because the rewards for the good path(s) are useless.when i started TOB i saved then loaded a saved game in shadowkeeper.I was looking to change my alignment back.when i loaded it ,my alignment said neutral as though nothing was changed. I went back and checked and my alignment in-game was neutral-evil.what is the deal with my alignment?

If you choose the evil paths, it gives you evil even if you're neutral? Seems unfair? You're right. But there is a mod which adds a 'neutral' path to take, can't remember the name, but that should help you out.

the mod that modifies the paths is either ding0 tweaks or quests. both can be downloaded at: http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/index. ... &Itemid=83

I could have used that, my assassin that i beat the game with was originally neutral good but i took 4/5 evil paths(went good on the sarevok one) and my alignment. not even shadowkeeper could change it back.

every time from then on when areie casted holy smite i got wacked :p

@berethor
not even shadowkeeper could change it back.
after researching this more,shadowkeeper can do it back, but it is under 'effects' as a flag to remove rather than your original alignment.

what i also found is that your reputation also drops by at least one.
the sneaky part is that the rep drop is also a flag, so you still show 20 (or whatever).
--If it is 20,and your flag is set at 19, you can never raise it by doing good deeds in TOB.
--------eg.-- raising tavit's father.
