Thanks
Kill the owner and it should be available for buying A good way on killing them: Let them follow you to a spot you can't be spotted, and then kill him. Though, he won't follow you if you're evil iirc.
Okay thanks, was wondering how to do it. Is there a "good" way to do it also?

One trick that I found is that you stay in the shop until its closes. When this happens I get trapped inside the house and usually the shopkeeper is inside as well. Steal the loot and you can probably kill the keeper that way without getting into trouble.

I found that staying in the shop after closing just gets you wanted for trespassing. I was in the shop in Oakvale when the doors swung shut and the shopkeeper went running to the guards! (Admittedly I had heard the "shops are now closing" call and chose to ignore it rather than wait til morning).

Okay I started going in the houses at night and sleeping in the beds. When I wake up in the morning, the homeowners are usually there, then I kill them quickly before they can call the guards.
I wish there were a good way of buying shops. I think they should have set it up so that you could buy out all their product then be offered the option to buy the shop after that.

you can in search your computer for a file called fable you should come up with a folder called fable and in that folder you should find a tatto folder
it tells you how to make a custom tatto and you can makeyourself look like a girl but you shouldnt use the paint program because its very hard

Yes it is true that u can make yr own tats but dont use the link that he gave u thats the game files. The folder u want it in My Document/My Games/Fable/Tats/ there should be a folder in there with yr profile names thats were u edit the tats to get yr personal tats. I have made my own 1 and its very hard lol lots of coloring for a simple tat. Look in the funny fable thread i started.

the "good" way
I wish there were a good way of buying shops.
Assuming your not so Evil/disliked that you can't get people to follow you..
-Get them to follow you out of the town - tell them to wait - and get them all drunk (aprox 3 beers should do it) - walk back into the city, and buy their houses.
This does not seem to work as often as this one tho:
-You can (like I did to all of the ppl in Bowerstone North) get him/her to follow you out of the town, and in to a group of "bad guys" that will hack'n'slash the people that are following you (preferably undead, because they seem to hit whatever is in the way of you). So just put on your Physical Shield so you dont get hit, and just walk around the villagers until they are all dead. Walk back into the city, and their houses/shops should be up for sale.
Guess this is not a "good" way, seeing that you indirect kill them.. But you dont get evil points, sooo...

Well...there's one other method to get a shop to be for sale, but u can only do it a few times. Make sure u are very attractive , mary the shop owner so the shop becomes for sale and then start farthing:speech: , etc. to ur husband or wife so he/she will devorce u. Nobody gets killed and u still get the shop.(If u like u can still keep the husband or wife, allthough that's not much fun in my opinion )
