NBA 2K6 owns me

I seem to have an addiction to this game because I can't stop playing it. Granted i feel that way whenever I get a new game, but in the case of nba 2k6, I think it might be true. I've been playing it basically nonstop (sleep and wok notwithsanding) for like three days now. But the upside is that 2k6 kicks ass!! The level of realism in this game is amazing. I thought 2k5 was good, but this year's edition is definitely an improvement. Good player movement, good player control, nice additions like the shot stick, etc. To be honest i had my hopes up for this game and it's such a nice feeling when those hopes are met (and in this case exceeded) because in my experience that happens so rarely.

Anyone else playing this? got any thoughts, etc?

Marjor control improvement. i really like where they're going with the franchise. amazing stuff. i've only been playing for a few hours, but right now it looks like i mad the right basketball choice. i foresee this game only getting better with time.

I think in terms of basketball this year, 2k6 wins hands down. i've been a fan of the franchise for several years now, but this years game is just blowing me away. Basically other than watching "lost" my time on the couch has all been spent playing 2k6 in the last week and i'm enjoying every second of it.

Don't have it yet, but seeing that i'm playing this series ever since 1994, it's only a matter of time until i'll get my hands on this one.

I need a new controller first though. When i changed my mainboard the last time i got one with USB ports only, and my MS Sidewinder has a gameport connector, so i can't use that one anymore.

I really need a controller for these type of games, using the keyboard doesn't get me very far.
