Cheating only degrades the gameplay making it less enjoyable than its creators intended it to be

I know that, but I've beaten it many times. Now I want to screw around with it a little.

modding a game is not cheating. Modding a game can expand your original gaming experience and immerse you even further into the world.

People who don't like playing with mods never played Morrowind. Anything that makes a game more fun is good. However, to answer the question, I don't know of any for Fable.

I agree , some people like mods in games. In unreal tournament it was the instagib mod wich had a lot of supporters. CSS modders did one hell of a job 2. It's just cool 2 find out what can be done with the game. So if you would have ,for exemple ,a mod where you can shoot fireballs with your sword you never would use it since its modded? No shields or ...

Now 2 answer your question : have a look here http://www.fileplanet.com/79305/0/secti ... mods&hl=nl

People, there is a difference between hacks and mods.

A hack is something that will give you a sword that causes 1000 damage.

A mod might be something that adds in another 5 silver quests, or makes a new monster, or opens a completely new area. Whatever the benefit, mods are there so you can still have surprises while playing the game.

That said, the game has only recently come out, so I believe it may take a little longer for the good mods to appear.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

I dont believe it can for the modder didnt create the game and has no idea of the sequal storyline basics being thought up
So, thay cannot emerse you further

I didnt like the instagib mod i saw it was stupid playing a shooting game with a weapon that 'Instantly executes the giblet spawn and death comand' not very complicated, is it?
Plus i like fire fights dodging bullets not "ooh look he shot my big toe Oh no! im exploding!"
So if you would have, for exemple, a mod where you can shoot fireballs with your sword you never would use it since its modded?
No i would not if it was not official
A fireball sword removes choice...
"Should i cast a spell or melee fight this enemy?",
Not both thats cheating
Casting fireball with one hand while holding the sword in the other (Fable)
Now that seems fair
Or if you meant sword swing fireball go then thats just stupid

Alright buddy, what about if the mod added in 5 quests that were incomplete and scrapped in the original game, but a few of the designers decided to join together and finish them and then release it for free?

It's not cheating, and it makes the game better.

And if you say that wouldn't happen, do some research on Baldur's Gate II.

Don't live in the Dark Ages, mods can make a good game great.

Insane2k02, your comments are out of line. The person who started this thread is looking for mods. He's not looking for you to judge him, or give your comments on mods--which apparently you barely know. Cut the commentary. Now. (And watch your tone, too. Your later comments are close to flaming, as the site owner defines it.)

That goes for anybody else who feels all mods are automatically cheats, and needs to tell the world that. If you can't answer the question posed at the top of the thread, don't bother answering.
