Just curious. Has anyone figured on how to save Kreia? a.k.a to prevent her death?
I've tried playing the LS, but I got the "Rest now, Kreia...." line at best and then she died. BTW, the exile's supposed to die too, but s/he didn't.
Thanks.
The Ending (Spoilers)
Adding
Spoiler
to the thread title would be nice, although a thread titled "The Ending" can be assumed to contain spoilers, I suppose.

You can't.
Spoilers: (highlight to view)
You have four aims (for LS):
1. To find the Jedi Masters and realise that they aren't Jedi any more; they are arrogant and unable to resolve the flaws in their own dogma.
2. To find and train replacements for a new Jedi order; the true "Lost" Jedi, your own companions.
3. To destroy the three principle Sith Lords that would destroy what is left of the Jedi order and bring about the fall of the Republic.
4. To finish what you started at Malachor and prevent it from continuing to be the source of the fabled "echo".
Of course, number three means that Darth Traya has to die. In the original script, Atris would become Darth Traya if you didn't redeem her. If you did, then Kreia would become Darth Traya because "someone must" (heavily paraphrased). This cut was presumably made because different final "baddies" would muddy the water for a Kotor III, but Kreia's character loses a lot of its authority as well.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]
Because of the force bond? Nope.
Spoilers again:
When you met Vash, she was supposed to tell you that force bonds break when one of those "bonded" changes alignment drastically. Kreia's eventual return to the dark side would have meant that you wouldn't die when she did. Unfortunately, you were meant to find Vash on the Droid planet, which was cut (for reasons of time, according to an interview), so now you just find her body on Korriban, and her lines remain unvoiced.

LucasArts in interview with GameSpy, September 2004
"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.
Lengty discussions about the ending already exists in the forum, where I'm sure this is already debated - or should be - so I'm closing this topic.
Secondly - yes, the thread should have been labled as a spoiler, because it is a very huge spoiler indeed, even if the thread is about the ending.
So I'm adding that as well, but please remember doing so in the future as requested in the sticky thread in this forum (labled: please read before posting
