Eltoora's Lab *SPOILERS*
Eltoora's Lab *SPOILERS*
Evening all
Im in Eltoora's lab, and need someone to cast lightning bolt. im doing the tomb of resonance item, with the fen berry and silk gland. So, I was wondering how i could get someone to do that short of just multiclassing to bard sourceror or wizard. Currently, I have the bard henchman.

Whatever happened to my ICED TEA?

To use a wand that has lightnig bolts in it, you need either the Use Magic Device skill or the ability to use arcane wands. To use an arcane wand, you have to as mentioned above be a sorcerer, wizard or bard.
Bah! Bunch of lamers! Ye need the lesson of the true powergamer: Play mages, name them Koffi Annan, and only use non-intervention spells! Buwahahahahah!

So "Use Magic Device" would be the way to go about this for non-magical users, short of multiclassing, and then either try and find a wand (I never recall finding wands actually, sure they aren't only craftable?) or scroll
The biggest problem is that you have to be a Bard or a Rogue to gain the "Use Magic Device" skill. Multiclassing seems to be the only choice then. I would go for a level in wizard, sorcerer or bard. Since wizard and sorcerers get to use the wand. While a bard get both "UMD" and the ability to use most arcane wands.

You will find similar items in the game.... And if you buy a greater Swordsman's/Brawler's/Archer's belt you are practically immune to damage from the average enemies. So any of the items you can create is only good up until a cerain chapter, because then you'll find better. But that was off topic
