Hey all,
Anyone have any tips for combat for the PC? I seem to be doing alright as a meleer by clicking like crazy and using one or two spells. I seem to have a hard time switching spells and I get hit alot more than I would like to (TONS of scars). How does one become proficient with blocking?
Thanks

The easiest way to avoid being hit is use spells to your advantage. Try using Physical Shield, Force Push, Enflame or if you want to have real fun, Slow Time.
The first spell stops you from getting hurt, the next two blow enemies away, and the last one gives you a ton of time to attack.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.
The best piece of advice I can give you is remap all your keys. Most of the defaults are, IMO, just bad. What I did was:
Movement: WASD
Flourish: F
Block/Roll: Right Click
Attract Experience Orbs: Mouse Button 4
Run: Shift
Spell Menu: Ctrl
Target Lock: Tab
First Person Targeting: R
Interact: Space
Sneak Mode: Caps Lock
Reset Camera: Middle Mouse Button
And I also remapped a lot of the F-keys.
By being more comfortable with your controls, your skill in combat will soar.
