mod install issues: please help

after reviewing this site i added a few mods. i get a warning when i load that some files cannot find the main file they are attached to.

i tried to copy the files to the correct data file folder or subfolder. how should i go about fixing this issue?

I suggest using this. Go down to the area on installation, and you'll see some excellent tutorials on how to install mods. Hope that helps.

thanks. that was extremely helpful. im having one error prior to loading that i still cannot get beyond. is there a good place to post the specific error message or otherwise get help?

the error im getting currently is:

"vmet_playertransformed" in script gals_magicka_reg.

any thoughts? i cannot figure out which mod it is or if there is anyway to fix other than just not using the mod

What does it say right before it gives you that line? In other words, does it say "The following scripts are missing" or something else, and if so, what?

Did you by any chance install Sabregirls Hazaeki Shapeshifter Race? I think - but I'm not sure - that I remember the error message you mentioned. In my case, I forgot to install some of the required mods.

On Morrowind summit you can download a utility called MPM...Morrowind Plugin Manager.It's very effective for managing your mod plugins.
