Blaster guardian->Sith Lord

Post by androgenik »

I was allways fond of playing with ranged weapons and armor, so I was thinking would I have any trouble playing with blaster rifle(full upgrades) and turning to Sith Lord later.
The character I was thinking about would be Guardian(because of the feats) with:
8 str
16 dex
16 con
14 int
10 wis
10 cha

Would I get enough force points to be effective sith lord and would low wisdom impede my effectiveness as a Sith Lord?

And concerning two pistols vs. rifle issue I am under impression that in KOTOR II rifles have a higher rate of fire witch makes them equal with two pistols and minus 3 feats for dual wielding which can be spent on precise shot and close combat.

What do you think, is there some official explanation that, when rifles are depicted as "repeating" means that they have more fire rate per round. Visually I think this is correct so unlike pistols in KOTOR I rifle is the way to go in KOTOR II?
Of course master rapid fire is a necessity for both solutions.

Wisdom effects the amount of force points that you recieve per level, as well as some dialouge options, that can be filled in with such things as awarness, ect, and it also controls how effective your force abilities are.

I think that there was some calculations going on a while ago involving which was better, rifles or pistols, which I will see if I can dig up for you.

I just remembered that I don't have enough skill points with guardian so I can't upgrade T3-M4, I guess I will go with sentinel then.

What do you mean? You want to have enough skill points to fully repair/ upgrade that droid?

Well, I think only the main character can add attribute points to him with his repair/computer skill(first time Bao Dur upgraded for +2 con just to show you can do that).
