Oddest thing happened last night!!!

I was bored so I made another Elven Fighter/thief. Went to get my stats and well got a surprise, it let me get an 18/** number. All my other elfs were denied this pleasure, I just thought cool and continued to create. My final roll was
str-18/00
dex-19
con-17
int-10
wis-10
chr-8
The really big surprise was yet to some tho. When I went to set my proficiencies it gave me 11 picks! 11 I'm used to like 6 not 11!. Well I was rather excited my guy was proficient in almost all the weapons I had and wish to use and then some. Well this is where it starts to suck. I only got like 160 for my thieving skills

but it gets worse, when ever I hit anything its instant death for me Evan tho I have 60 something hp.

This guy started off so great and I'm wondering how I got all these options I wasn't supposed to?

Instant death. I went to backstab minsc bam game over screen. Reload went to bacj stab imoen boom game over screen.
