I thought I would put this out there in case anyone happends to be interested. This is how much Gold you will earn in rent, with maxed Guile, if you own every house and shop in the following towns. This includes marital homes, fully upgraded.
Oakvale: 14,550
Knothole Glade: 16,152*
Hook Coast: 16,326
Snowspire Village: 31,890
*Knothole Glade is the only incomplete town. The tattooist was not in my game, ever, so I was never able to buy his shop.
Rent can be collected in full every 3 days (that's using a bed 6 times in a row).

Does not matter what the guile is set to. Rent is at a set percentage for each building.
You can also own Bowerstone north. make over 23,000 there.

I left out Bowerstone North and South on purpose because *surprise on* I don't own them! Rather then stating the obvious, someone who DOES own them can certainly say how much rent you do get...

You can without killing, you simply make the people follow you.
Great guide by the way, I found it's good owning the warehouses, but nothing else is cost-effective.
