rubble outside ice temple
rubble outside ice temple
in the ice temple exterior map, there is a section where you have to break the neverwinter soldiers out of the ice, and get the holy symbol of auril. but you also get some stone rubble. so far even the most obscure items like dead bodies i have learned have a use. the rubble must be there for a reason. what do you do with it?
i think the rubble only apears after break the ice. i thought it might just have a use...
also, in the crash site where oswald ship has 'landed', captain yurst says to get rid of the traps. is this a quest? how do you get rid of every singe trap on the map? please tell me there is an easy way
No, it's not a quest, but mere hint that the place is heavily trapped. So just run your thief in front, always detecting traps.
About the rubbles, there is other purpose as well:
If you visit the upper section, where the levers are, first then you can use those rubbles also to damage the creature below
Very handy way, I use it every time.![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)

Yeah, you can use it to injure Remorhaz though I think I always had to attack the one sitting there. Or I left it for later on, when a live Remorhaz turns out to be very useful.
The main use of the rubble and levers is to get the amulet though.

It's not a quest though getting the Periapt of Wound Closure to him is. Disarming the traps is just likely to make things easier for you (less injury). Generally when you find piles of wood on the ground there is a trap. There are a few others but you don't have to disarm them.
