Jaheira and the Harpers

Post by TheHellion »

Okay, a few questions:

First of all, I did Jaheira's curse quest a while back, and only afterwards did I read that I should buy her some locket from a fat merchant near the temple of Oghma. Having wandered around all over the Docks, I simply can't find this merchant. Is he only there immediately following the curse quest? If so, is there any utility that I might use (such as Shadow Keeper) to stick him back in the game?

Secondly, I'm a little worried that I might be missing out on the second Harper quest. Here's what happened: I went to rest before heading off to the Windspear hills, and ended up initiating some dialogue with Aerie. She blubbered on about how she's useless and should just die, and she and Jaheira went at each other's throats as usual. This time, though, I HAD to choose; no getting out of it. I didn't know this at the time, so tried to take a sort-of-middle-ground by saying that I liked Aerie and would do no such thing. After leaving the inn, a Harper woman turned up and summoned Jaheira away. I realized at this point that I'd probably lost Jaheira for good, so I reloaded my game and initiated the dialogue again, this time siding with Jaheira *sniff*. Well, this time the Harper didn't come... I'd like to do this quest. As above, could I use something like Shadow Keeper to activate the quest?

Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

The merchant who sells the locket is only present at daylight hours outside the temple of Oghma in the docks. Against popular belief this locket is not at all vital for jaheiras romance but just a nice little extra.

Siding with Jaheira only delays her summoning to harpers hold. This sudden vanishing is not permanent however and she will return to your side the very next day and bring with herself a quest to boot. You could just as well have chosen Airie if that romance interest you more and that would infact speed up Jaheiras quests considerably, wich are not connected to her romance.
