Bard. Skald.
I always thought they were weak... how wrong I was.
Rather than try the Blade, which is simply a fighter, try the Skald, it is a huge killing machine.
Trust me, don't try the Blade, because it isn't fun, you might as well do a fighter for more HLAs.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.
F/M/T's are pretty fun... Very flexible and powerful. I had an easier time taking out firkraag and going through Watcher's Keep in Ch. 2 soloing with one than I did with an entourage... Probably those High-level abilities! No Dragon's Breath, though...
i'm breakin through i'm bending spoons i'm keepin flowers in full bloom i'm lookin for answers from the great beyond

If you want fun without having to give up anything, you should go swashbuckler/mage. Dual at lvl 13 or so and make sure to put enough points in pick pockets/findtraps and lock pick. Maybe stealth and traps after you get the others to around 90ish.
