Preferred method of fighting
I have been noticing how easy it is for enemies to block your melee attacks. I always find it preferable to just use the bow or magic instead.
What is your preferred method of fighting?
I mean... I can just keep using the Enflame ability and scarf a few potions afterwards and not take a single hit. Using a combo of Enflame and a good bow works wonders. Especially when doing the tricky "take no damage" boasts.

I like to do that too, especially with enemies that fire missiles knocking you down.
When surrounded I use enflame, I had to kill a bunch of undead and was getting fed up of the time it was taking so I just kept using the spell.
As for the bow, I'm not too good with it, so I only use it against things that stay stationary generally.

When the skills are maxed out it's great to shoot with bows (skorms bow)
Like for example the greatwood entrance , there are always bandits who are at the other end of the map. I aim approximatly to the red dot and i release the arrow together with a fireball to put them in a world of hurt.
mwoeahahaha. I guess my fighting style is dependant of the mood i'm in

Twisted Will User.
Finished the game pure evil will, and gotta say, I'm a killing machine. Use Infernal Wrath a lot, coupled with Fireball and Lightning. Using Slow time also helps greatly, and so does Force Push.

So this means you hardly or never used a melee weapon to kill nme's

i generally use everything, as the situation calls for it. i'm a whore for Infernal Wrath and Enflame though. you can get your combat multiplier up to crazy levels with lots of enemies and a level 4 Infernal Wrath (or Divine Fury).
as for the melee enemies that block, all you need to do is take timely advantage of your flourishes. a strong character with three or so flourishes can finish a minion without getting hit once.
it's the Summoners that present more of a problem... best thing for them is Skorm's bow and Infernal Wrath/Divine Fury. even Enflame doesn't really slow them down.

That's right, I never used weapons... except for at the beginning when you didn't have a choice, fighting Maze when you had to, and stabbing people in cutscenes.
And for those of you who weren't aware, the White Balverine becomes hitable after receiving the Aug, not after putting it in a weapon . It was tough to begin with, but it's worth the challenge. Just don't cheat and use swords or bows.

Well I'd doubt that. In order to play as a mage properly, you should never use a weapon, so that kind of rules you out. But it's not really that hard being a pure will user, infact, it's not very hard full stop.
