Help!!!

I am in Skuldoon sproke to Feros Duul, now, he tells me to track down Maa in the Forbidden Lands..........the guards won't let me pass!

What did I not do?

Did you save Mara from the assassins at the Harrow ruins? Did you talk to Vartugg in Skuldoon? If you didn't save Mara then you may have missed talking to Lord Graemare in Bolen fields. This thread of events opens the gate to the forbiddin lands. Lord Graemare to Gileah the barmaid in fargrove to Mara to Vartugg and out the gate. D

*shrug* I've spoken to graemere, saved mara, spoken to vartuug, who tells me his guards will let me enter the forbidden lands, but there's no guards at the gate and the gate won't open automatically. go figure....Any ideas from this standpoint? And despite what the walkthrough says about them sometimes "getting hung up on the western wall" I can't find them anywhere along the wall.

Odd...*shrug* kept a save game and started a new char. When I reloaded the game I couldn't open the gates in the guards just walked up from the direction I was looking in to let me through. I dunno.
