Horator Question? ::Maybe tiny spoliers::
Horator Question? ::Maybe tiny spoliers::
I've been playing my GOTY game file for a while now but I finally decided to start the main quest this morning. I'm on the part where you need to be named horator of the great houses and I have a really minor question. I'm already archmagister in tevanni so if I do the horator quests does that change my ranking to horator in that great house? Also once I do the other great house horator quests do those houses show up on my factions list or is horator more like an honorary title? Oh yeah and on another off topic thing that just came to mind. Since I'm cured of corpus and immune to diesease does that mean I can't become a vampire now?
I was waiting to beat the game then become a vampire and go on a mass npc killing spree but it seems thats not going to happen.
Thanks

Speak to Aryon. He will name you hortator.
Being disease resistant will make you immune to vampirism and lycanthropy (i.e. becoming a werewolf). There are only 2 excptions to this - hircines ring and the bloodmoon main quest both allow you to become a werewolf with disease resistance. One thing I can think of is using the editor to make a potion ingredient that has vampirism as an effect, and making a potion with that as an effect by combining it with vampire dust. The effect would be full blown vampirism, I think - not the infection, wait 3 days, vampirism thing. I havent tried this. You could try a 'weakness to common disease' spell, but that could be hit and miss. Again, I've never wanted to become a vampire, so it hasn't been tried.
Edit - Hortartor is an honorary rank.
