**SPOILER**Tribunal -- How to Get Out of Forgotten Sewers?

Post by Dyre Straits »

I've started Tribunal, and have entered Godsreach and picked up a fighting partner.

Here's the situation: My buddy got stuck and quit following me as we swam toward Forgotten Sewers to meet up with the crazy lady who has all these weird artifacts that can do damage.

Well, since my buddy quit following me -- he just kept swimming toward a large pipe and wouldn't turn around to come with me -- I told him to just wait for me there.

I went ahead and made it past all the damaging artifacts and faced the crazy lady and killed her.

I've search all over this vacant place for a switch, door, trap door, or any other way to exit the sewers. So far, though, the only way I've been able to find is the way I came in. BUT, there are two artifacts at one opening that, no matter how much I boost my health, my shield, or other things, these two artifacts kill me outright as soon as I approach.

So, is this the only way out or should I continue searching?

Thanks!

PS It seems to me that Tribunal is a little more 'buggy' than Morrowind. Is that pretty much the case?

Divine/Almvsi intervention or recall (if you have a mark spell cast) should get you out. I don't know, as the last time I played that bit I had the atronach, necromancer's amulet, marara's ring (relect 20 pts) and wraithguard on...

If that doesnt work, try summoning something and getting it to take the blow, or if you have spell absorbtion or reflect scrolls/potions try using them.

Minimise your succeptibility to magic, in other words.

If you dont have a scroll to get you out then I suggest you slowly creep out of there and be as far away from the devices as much as possible...and if you are hit emediatly(sp) start curing yourself while your getting shocked as to balance the damage with healh....how did you get there without being shocked in the first place.
Wondering how vampires live the life they live.....

As to how I got there without getting killed: That's a very good question. LOL! But, it seems I used a Dispel potion/spell.

But, if the easiest way out is to use a Almsivi spell, I've got plenty on hand. Just never did give it much thought as I rarely ever used it in the original game.

My character is Level 31 and I do have Wraithguard on and the Keening sword. I also have a LOT of various rings, belts, and other magic items that should boost my health and make me nearly invincible. But, this one area really is a toughy.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I really do like these games. :)
