is it really worth fighting this piece of red cack?

i mean, it's quite a lot of bother, and i was wondering if he has anything worth taking - dragons are usually hoarders so i guess he has loads of gold?

Gold, more from sword and of course red dragon scales. That is the best armor in the game because it's not magical. (Exept for drow fullplate +5)

Don't forget to have Cromwell make the armor from the dragon scales (AC -1 if memory serves me)
