Morrowind Questions and Other things ::spoliers::
I just have a few things that I'm curious about having to do with the morrowind storyline, and I feel they're worth asking if for no other reason than for me to be satified. First I've heard alot of people mention the Black Marsh, the homeland of the Argonians (spelled wrong I think). Is this a real place in the morrowind game, can I go there? Also I recently finished the Tribunal main quest and found the Sotha Sil guy dead in his city. Can anyone give me some background information on this guy he seems like an interesting character and the game doesn't go into enough depth on him. Also would anyone suggest using his "city" as a base of operations (its not like he's using it)
. It's a pretty cool place but I had higher expectations for it (most of it is just empty halls!).
Thanks, I'm just curious
First I've heard alot of people mention the Black Marsh, the homeland of the Argonians (spelled wrong I think)
No, you spelled it right
, but anyways....... I wish you could go to the Black Marsh (since Argonians are AWESOME), but unfortunately, the game only takes place on Vvardenfell, an Island in the center of Morrowind, the Dunmer province (which is just north of Black Marsh). If you're on PC, you might want to take a look at http://www.Tamriel-Rebuilt.org which is an attempt to rebuild the rest of Tamriel using the TESCS.
As for Sotha Sil, you can find a lot of info on him in most temple books. Sotha Sil was one of the three Dunmer (or was it Chimer?) generals who used the heart of Lorkhan to gain divine powers after the Battle of Red Mountain. After (spoilers) the Nerevarine destroys the Heart, the Tribunal loses their powers and become (for the most part) mortal. Almalexia, maddened by the loss of her powers, hatches a plot to kill Vivec and Sotha Sil so that she can control all those temple fanatics for herself.
And as for using the clockwork city as a base, no, find somewhere else. I mean, half the place is flooded/filled with swinging blades!
