Just courious (mild spoilers)

on the back of the box there are four pictures, one showing a vampire using a flame thrower at the santa monica pier, another of a nosferatu using potence, one of the gargoyle at the chinese theatre and then the last one... the one that has been bugging me

it looks like the club confessions except with normal people dancing around with a female malkavian in the cowboy costume the dialoge options are

1-i'll return with the pearl
2-I"ll get it, but you'd better hold up your end of the deal
3-no deal. tell me what you know.
4- I've heard enough out of you. I'll rip the information from your pretty little hide.

has anybody ever wondered about that? when i first played the game i looked for all the pictures and yea... so anyway any speculations?

This topic crops up from time to time on various forums. I believe it was a quest that was cut from the final game while the box was produced prior to the game going gold.

yeah

also if you download v1.8 and you go into the readme thing... it says "placed pearl of dubai and other cut items into pawn shop" or something like that. i speculated that the pearl of dubai was that item in the cut quest you would be looking for.

I saw that statement as well, but I have yet to find this mysterious "pearl of dubai" myself. I looked in all the shops I know of, and went back to Trip's near the end of the game, because you only have access to certain items when you enter the final quest phase.
