looking for a certain key item (major spoiler)

(To get it out of the way: I play the XBOX version, not PC. And it's a wonder I got as far as I did WITHOUT hitting bugs till recently...)

Alright so I've run all around Endusal (Kagrenac's study) and I can't freaking find Kagrenac's Journals. I bet as soon as I post this and get a reply, I'll feel like an idiot, but, really, I can't find them anywhere, and the walkthrough gives no specifics as to where they are.

Well, I don't know exactly where they are, but I remember that there are four major Dwemer ruins in Red Mountain. The books are located in two different ruins, one in the one that doesn't have anything to do with the main quest, and the other in one of those two where you go to get Sunder and Keening (can't remember which one, though). Just look in places you would normally find books (on shelfs, on tables/desks, etc.), because I remember distinctively that they weren't to hard to find. (especially considering I wasn't looking for them when I found them :D )
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

Yeh, but the walkthrough specifically identified TWO of the Dwemer ruins to have either the Journals or the Planbook, and Endusal has one of them.

Eh, it's okay anyway; turns out the bugger was stuck under a Dagoth's body that I had neglected to dispose of (it was UNDER a shelf that the body had managed to fall under.

Thanks though.
