lost spell slots

Post by chewcud »

I have a dual thief/abjurer (thief is the class I am progressing with), and upon reaching about 12th level, I lost 1 spell slot per level. At least that's what i think happened. Is there any way to gain back the spells I lost? I don't really want to use the player editor, but I will if I have to.

any help is appreciated.

There have been rumors before that the game fails to correctly identify specialist mages in a dual-class combi ... as far as I know, the AD&D rules don't allow this anyway (please someone correct me if I'm wrong here). Therefor, the game sees you as a 'normal' mage/thief, and cancels the extra spell slot you got for being a specialist mage.

I see.... well, if that's the case, it should also give me back my ability to cast the opposite school spells. But it didn't is this an oversight? Or a bug?

I think it's a bug. But they (Interplay/BioWare) apparently didn't notice it yet, as they didn't include it in their latest patch.

Does Interplay have an e-mail address set up specifically to send in notes about possible bugs? If so, then by all means send it their way.
