Brink of insanity in the Naga Temple

Post by stef pettine »

I have fought through the Naga temple, and now come to a room with a trapdoor floor that dumps me to a lower level. I have also found two grate/doors, one in the treasure room and another in a hall, that will not open for me. I cannot find the mechanism to either prevent the floor collapse or open one of the grates. In the water pool that lies along the corredor, I can see another passage beyond, but cannot access it. There is a loose brick on the same level, but I cannot tell that it is being activated or what it does. Please help, I just can't figure out if something is wrong with the program or am I just missing something?
Thanks!

You have to jump over the trapdoor.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Also,
don't bother about the loose brick =>empty secret room !?

grate near pool will open after you freed Valdane. Leads to a gas mask, usefull to get the Relic without being poisoned. I appreciated to have it to fight witches later in the adventure.

Tip: Use forward roll (forward, forward) to roll under poison vapors emanating from the walls.

On a side note, some people have had a measure of success by using the crystal of time to slow down when trying to jump that trap door. (Myself included.)
