New Robes

Post by AndeeG »

I'm a level 16 sentinel/weapons master and am about to get +5 dexterity but my robes only allow +4. I am using the zeishon sha initiate armor or whatever it's called because it doesn't restrict force powers but still provides decent defense and such. Is there a better piece similar to this one that i can buy/find? I just completed duxon/onderon and have just landed on nar shadaa.

Have you checked the subsite here for the Jedi Robes section, under armour? If not, then I suggest that you read through them all. If not, then there is another ssub section there full of upgrades, that you can enhance your robes with, if the particular type you are using is upgradable.

my question was less about robes and more about armor. I'm using the zeishon sha initiate armor, which is light armor, but doesn't restrict force powers like most other armor, but provides more protection than robes do. Is there armor in the game that doesn't restrict force powers (besides robes) and has more than a +4 dex limit?

with a +5 dex bonus you could use a jedi master robe (3 defense no dex limit) and get the same protection and mroe once you get a higher bonus. Other than that, zeison sha initiate is something i almsot always use, until i get master robes.

Well now, I do think that in the area of armour, the Zeishon Sha Initiate Armour is on its own, in that it allows you to cast force powers. there may be others, but I know that if you are looking for good armor, then this is the best. All the others restrict quite early, if I remember correctly, and the small amount that they have do not help overly much anyways.

I would check the robes to see if any are better, just to be sure, but I think that the kind you are using is the one favoured by many. :) You have kind of restricted your choices by looking into armor...

I myself use the Makutai Apprentice Robes, for the constitution bonus, and since my dexterity is rarely all that high, it does not really matter either.

Ditto, I use the matukai adept robes if I'm lucky enough to acquire some. The +2 to Str, Dex and Con are a nice bonus if you're a melee oriented jedi.

Darth Malak's armour? No, that is not his armour, it is Exar Kun's, at least, thats the one I think you are talking about. It is a strange part of the game, yes, and I think there was a thread on it a while ago, but pretty much, many thought that he was a melee oriented jedi, and did not need to use his lightsaber as often, therefore, he went for the more impressive and useful armour.
