Help! NWNDiamond Chapter 2 Luskan Bug

With the forged documents in hand, I cannot proceed onto the bridge to the Host Tower. After speaking with the guard, the gates are still locked, and I have no key. HELP!!!!!

have you tried reloading and speaking with the guard again? i normally kill the guard but after he has seen the papers and let me in so don't know if he drops a key.

the only other thing i can think of is to use a cheat to move to the host tower first level. can't remember what the cheat is but it will be in these forums somewhere, or if not a google search should find a site that has it.

Reloading does nothing. I can't seem to find the cheat that could "teleport" me to the Host Tower level 1. These bugs are unbelievably IRRITATING.
Anyone else got any suggestions?

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, without knowing the area code of the Host Tower map, I can't "teleport" anywhere. I don't know how you would enter a specific mouse pointer coordinate to move my character beyond the most IRRITATING gate in the world. Any idea where you can find area codes listed???? Thanks again.

just went on the toolset and the area tag for the host tower court yard, which is the first bit you get to after going through the gate is MAP_2Q6A

edit: not sure if you already managed to get to the courtyard and can't actually enter the tower itself. if so, the first part of the tower you enter after the courtyard has area tag MAP_2Q6B

Onwards! Success! I'm into the tower, the silly gate bug behind me. (still locked though, even after coming through the other way!) I actually had thought of finding the area codes in the tool set, but for some reason I can only access Chapter 2 areas before the tower.. not sure why. Anyhow, thanks a million for your help. Hopefully, that's the end of the bugs.

your welcome, and from my own personal experience all the bugs i came across in the game seemed to occur in luskan so hopefully you won't get any more
