Temple Ruins looks good... but how would i know???

Post by HydRo »

Problems:
1. I can go to the temple ruins area, i can kill everything in the forest, i can run around, reflect the mirror onto the crystal, look at some death fountain and some dark pit, see some werewolf thing run into a cave, but whenever i try to go into the dungeon/cave it crashes BG2 saying its a runtime error!!!
2. When I try a full install of BG2, it installs up to the point where it says "insert CD4". so I install CD4 and start it up again, and it doesnt even read the CD before saying "insert CD5". WTF?!? There is no CD5! it doesnt ask that when i install the recommended version! Wats up with that???

Solutions:
Well, actually, this is where im hoping you generous forum folk come in and reply to this message or email/icq me... PLEASE! This is so annoying.... Image

No help here. But I know I've read about this problem here on the board. Try searching for one of the threads that may have talked about it earlier. I can't remember the solution. If there is anyone else there who knows more about this than I, please help out here.

This happend to my friend. His was a burnt copy Image . take the files out of the folder and put them on the disk (if yours is burnt) otherwise it might have a scratch or maybe you got a dodgy cd in which is very bad luck. i think you can call the troubleshooting line that is at the back of the manual.
