Paladin and spellcasting - errata in the Manual?

I recently bought the game and noted an apparent discrepancy in the user manual. In the description of the paladin, it says paladins gain spellcasting ability at level 4. Yet in the table on spell progression, it seems to show that paladins gain spells only when they hit level 6. Which is right?

I think you will find the Paladin can cast divine spells from the 4th level according to the D+D core manual,I seem to remember that was the case on other D+D games that I've played aswell. Hope that helps.
