Question about manuals
i don't know for definate that it is up to 4 thinking about it. i read on these forums that it was up to 5 then i tried it with brawl 4 and he wouldn't do it so just kinda assumed it was up to 4 only as other people had been saying it was up to 5. as for melee, i know for definate that is up to 5. to get the melee you just go see him anytime between completing the elizabeth dane mission and starting the grout mission. before the elizabeth dane mission is completed he only does brawl so you have to see him when you get back from it as well if you want melee.
