druid's font

Post by nael »

this the first time that i played when a guy in tradesmeet wants me to poison the grove, so i figured why not...but where is this font i am supposed to poison, i assumed it was the little rivier in the grove, btu there is no spot that i could find to click on to empty my poison

That's a bit mean isn't it? You'll never get the favour of the nymphs if you do that.

That's right Ubik, you know the nymphs I'm talking about... Image Image Image

i'm trying to play an evil character this time around...really hard to get experience points since there sin't much reason to do any of the side quests...so i figure being evil, that i should poison the grove

Well that's my kind of thinkin'. There's a call to arms of evil folks going on in the 'planar sphere' thread if you can be bothered to wade through that cr*p.

To be honest, I don't think many people will have gone down that path you've chosen.

You might have to go to the grove proper (not just a river onthe map). Continue searching till you find a sort of temple entrance - you'll probably have to confront the druids first. You evil swine Image

Nael so did you do the "Freeing the slaves" quest in the Copper Coronet the evil way????

no, i didn't...i really didn't see many options...what is there to do? and if you do the quest to find out who buried that guy alive and end up pickign up the ransom for the chick being held hostage...you get f*cking silver pants...can't even sell the things...is there somewhere to take those?

Nael when doing the "Freeing the slaves" - quest in the Copper Coronet instead of helping Hendak to escape you can tell Lehtinan of Hendak's plans. Lethinan will thank you and ask you to execute Hendak as an example to the other slaves. If you willingly accept this without pushing for a reward you will still be able to buy items from Bernard at a discount price later in the game.

Sidenote - Only do things this way if your party is really evil.....

Remember, it is also following an evil alignment to do any quests, just so long as you are promised a reward in return. Unless your chaotic evil, in which case you are just one seriously whacked mofo Image

Druid Grove Spoiler:

When you enter the druid "cave" in the grove, you'll notice a stream flowing through the middle of the cave. On the right side, you'll notice one druid standing next to a pool of water. Walk up to this pool and click on it (you'll get that action icon). You'll then dump the poison in the font and will be promptly attacked by all the druids in the room.

When you return to Trademeet, talk to the guy outside the tavern, and he'll give you a shield of harmony +2. If you return to the mayor, he'll yell at you for killing off the druid grove, and your rep will drop by 1.

Side note: For some odd reason, Jaheira didn't react to this. Then again, I did keep her toward the back of the room. However, Minsc will attack you on sight regardless of your reputation.

GameBanshee ought to add an evil quests section to the quests page. Image
