Locked Doors in the Temple?
Locked Doors in the Temple?
Maybe it's the new Co8 patch or Liv's MOd in it, but there are quite a few locked doors in the Temple (main floor) that I can't get through at all. Can't pick the locks or bash the doors, can't use the Open/close spell, and I havne't successfully copied knock yet, so I can't Knock either (don't want to waste my ONE scroll of knock)--is knock the only way? and what DC are these things??

Well, there's an easy way to see the DC. Open the rolls window and click the blue text that says "failure" (or "success" when you succeed) and it'll show you your roll, any modifiers, and what you needed.
As for knock, if you want, you can use the console to spawn extra scrolls. See the sticky on console commands, if you're interested. If you consider that cheating, you'll just have to find another way to get knock or bump your lockpick with something (cat's grace, a bard song, levelling, or masterwork thieve's tools come to mind).

(Use the lastest 1.3 build - it's still beta, but stable and far better than 1.2)

Thanks-- I used the one knock scroll and it worked
(I do think console is a little cheating and I don't know how to do it anyway
But I fought a jelly and some ogres and just levelled so guess what one new spell will be
And thanks for the tip on the DC (rolls check) didn't think of that before!
