Well that's reassuring to hear :p .
You want me to be reassuring?
You're in perfect safety in the SF, DJV! :) Yeah right!
You like the ones you got. Rav?
Oops. Missed that question...
Yeah, they look quite good. Maybe I'll post a picture of me wearing them at some point. They were £85 I think.
It was Buy One Get One Free though, so that's good.

I don't understand why glasses are so expensive, but it sounds like you got a good deal. I'll look forward to the picture. Did you get an option for the second pair to be tinted (useful in what we laughingly call our summer)

They did offer special coatings, but the glasses are already expensive enough and I intend to wear as little as possible anyway. I'll only need them for lectures, until I start driving anyway. :p

No, not yet, but it was said right at the beginning of my eye test that I would have failed the driving test, so I'll need to wear glasses when driving. Lucky me. :p
I haven't got access to a car yet and I don't think I'd use it that much, so I'm going to wait a while before I take lessons.

Thankee, and you're forgiven, anyway you weren't around and I only arrived an hour ago so don't worry and moreover it doesn't matter really, you know, I mean post count don't matter, your congrats do mean something of course, but OMG I'm rambling, I have to stop my fingers from wandering over this bleeding keyboard.

LOL. That's not like you Lestat. Getting 1000 obviously does matter - it makes you garrulous  Keep it up *just knows she's going to regret that phrase*

This multi-personality disorder thingy of Hill must be rubbing off on me...

No, Lestat, you do not know what I was thinking :mischief:
Projection

When a person has uncomfortable thoughts or feelings, they may project these onto other people, assigning the thoughts or feelings that they need to repress to a convenient alternative target
Rather seems you know what you were thinking :p

Celtic Connections. It is the biggest folk festival in Europe and it happens here and it's got so much I can't see everything I want because things clash and it's Brilliant

It's the very best thing about living here. And it looks especially good this year. I've already chosen lots of things I want to see, and that's just on a first look. *dances about*
