@ Rav: This is it's thirteenth year. ;)

Wow, a madden player actually held back. Here I was, expecting some long winded story on how he made an amazing play in the game...

Sorry, I have other friends who play with that game too much... :o
I have those kinds of friends too, and that's WHY I didn't give you a long-winded
explanation: I never want to listen to them, and I know you won't want to listen to mine :) .
Hill, you have my sympathy for your poor sense of priorities :p Loads of Canadians come for this festival. Cape Breton is a major centre for the music
Oh, come on, now, I live out west now, it would cost me thousands of dollars just to fly myself and my spouse out there. :D

Actually, I have been to of couple of ceilidh's in Cape Breton, very nice. This one lady was extremely skilled with her tin whistle, as her husband played played along with his fiddle. :) I do both Irish and Scottish folk song festivals, though...

I know. I have a neighbour who went a few years back who enjoyed it.

You are nuts. You don't mind attention whether it's positive or negative. :p

If only this computer has msn messenger. :p That reminds me, I have to go around and get some people's hotmail adresses that didn't add me from work.

Bringing my contact list up to... way too long. :D

@ Tony: Yay, you normal!

BTW, gotta go and have a shower, we have company over at five for a while. Old friend of the spouse's.

I have to do something like that too. Be more proactive and such, normally I just let people add me to their contacts rather than vice versa. :p

See you later Hill.

I think there is probably some study which proves it's a survival trait in a society which existed 20000 years ago. It will probably have been written by a biologist and an anthropologist, and that proves it

Ah, well if a biologist and an anthropologist say something and agree, it does have to be right. Any more theories like that? :D

Well, now, it is a theory, not a fact, and since I decided to add it as a form of evidence, I suppose, I could see why you find it somewhat annoying.

It is sort of funny, really. It was one istance. Do you have a problem with that statement, or have a missed yet another form of humour that my muddled brain can not understand. ;) :p

Yes, I am still here, I was PMing and noticed these posts. :D

Oh, I think (hope? some word like that) he only does it to annoy me. Not sure. The essays would be funny if you got them, though :D Make me laugh, anyway

@ Hill. I'm glad you were here. I posted while you were leaving, and it was a waste to bring it up when you weren't here.

If you're referring to Stargate, I haven't seen the latest stuff yet. I know, I'll regret saying that, you can screw up the plot for me.
Otherwise, I really have no idea what you're on about. *represses the urge to add 'like usual'* ;)

Well, the specials saying what is going on have been happening for over a year here, and the series is actually shot in DW's romping grounds...

I'm going to leave now just to make Fiona have to handle you by her lonesome. Or leave you in her tender mercies. Whichever one is more painful. :p ;)

Yeah, they film in Vancouver IIRC.

Well, I'm waiting for the season to come out on DVD and then see it. It's only been shown for a month here.

And now we should find some way of including Fiona....
Hmm...
What's the best part of a folk festival? :p

Tantalizing post, I must respond. At this rate I'll never escape. :D

Wait, it has been showing for a month, the show, or just the stargate specials? So you know about the new enemy and all the new people and stuff, or should I just give you the rundown from the specials? :D
