First, is multiplayer fun if you have two people commandinga a party? Also, if you do make a multiplayer game can you still get the NPC's or will they all be negated, hence you lose all of the other side quests that you get with NPCs'. I have been playing a single player game since i bought this (play a little at a time, to much work, rather play this), i guess my question would be is multiplayer fun?

A Monk walks into a Pizza Parlor and says....
"HEY, give me one with everything"
"HEY, give me one with everything"
Well yeah, since you get to play with other, LIFE, people! Whenever you start a multiplayer game (and either create or load a multiplayer game), the host of the game can assign the various character slots to the different players. They can then put their selfmade characters in it (or create one at the spot).
During the game, NPC's can join, and take the empty places in your party. Maximum is still six, though. The host can assign these various NPC's through the Character Arbitration screen (a special tab appears in the menu bar to the left). While playing, everyone is in absolute control of his or her character(s), and no one else can control them, not even the host.
The host can set various privileges to te players, like the option whether or not others are allowed to enter a shop, leave the map, etc...
