command list promts (shift+~)

the promt for raising stats :game.party[0].stat_base_set(stat_strenght,25)
the "0" is for my first player and the "25" is what i want it to be, doesnt seem to work, any ideas?

also again in the command promt: certain items wont come up even though listed like 12631 (ring of fire resistance, major) i have noted the same effect with most of the things list above a four digit code.

have the same speed problem is it better to play the game in window mode to stop this or (as i prefer full) am i stuck. game crashes on me as well.

Well, that's the right code, except you spelled strength wrong, but I'm assuming you spelled it right in-game. Try again, making sure you've spelled everything aright. Many have reported a problem with this only to go back and do it more carefully and have it work. If it really isn't working for you, well, we'll have to think about that one for a while.

As for the items, the code list includes many that won't come up, especially if you don't have certain patches installed. A lot of modders have created new items, and once you've got them incorportated, you can spawn them with the console, but if not you're out of luck. Also, there are several items that just won't ever come up. Worse yet, there are some that will cause a crash (put a big T in your inventory and a CTD is imminent). It's best to save your game before spawning items and if one doesn't work, go back and reload till you find out which ones work.

ill check over everything for spelling*shrugs* wouldnt surprise me if thats what it was.

another question please, my level lock is firmly in place ie; cannot get above lvl 10 is there some kind of password i have missed ,or command promt.

ok, lol just a few more hopefully.

you were right it was misspelled, command promt works now.

i gather from the things i have seen here posted you can learn new spells but as of yet ive not figured that one out any ideas?

still have the lvl lock firmly in place,any suggestions?

what is the "Black TZGY Scarab"? is it good for anything, ie: Spell Resistance, AC, any thoughts?

By learn new spells, do you mean at level up or by copying scrolls? If the latter, you can only do that as a wizard, and only by using the copy scroll action from the radial menu when you have the appropriate scroll in your wizard's inventory.

The level 10 cap is normal for the standard ToEE game. If you don't patch or use official patches only, you'll be stopped at 10. If you use temple.zip or any fan fix that includes it, the cap will be level 20.

For a standard good stable and generally unmodded version of the game, the best config is probably patch 2 plus temple.zip. There are a bunch of mods that change the content more radically than this, including the co8 fix and Livonya's mod.

The scarab is useless in ToEE, except to sell for a bit of cash. In the original module, they had a function, and it seems likely that the designers meant to incorporate it into ToEE, but were not given enough time to finish it (hence the sparsity of the final level).

im useing patch 2, and the Co8 Mod. 4.0.0. . i had assumed the temple.dll was included in the Mod.

can you send me a thread to find the temple.dll if what i have stated is in error.

so as far as learning spells from scrolls, its not possible.

There should be a file somewhere called TOEEFE.exe or something. Run that and make sure temple.zip is selected.

I am using the Co8 mod and I am real sure that temple.dll is in ther and Liv's Mod both, You should be in for a good, and difficult game (re: my posts on locked chests thanks to LIV!)

I just hope that Liv made the final less sparse- as LP metioned it was- she has done a good job of toughening other things up
