Resistances

Post by Coyld »

COuld some one explain to me how the resistances to magic, ice, fire, etc. works? I dont quite understand how the percentages work, whether a high percentage is better or a low one. Thanks. Coyld

Higher the better!

100% means you're fully protected!
25% means 25% is absorbed so you suffer 75% of the hit.

You can see your protection status by hitting the 'S' key and move your cursor near the upper left corner at your life/advancement bars. That is protection from your rings and equipment.

Some shields also offer protection. Shield protection is effective only when you block. So it's a good thing to take the one that is most appropriate to the situation.

P.S. There's an issue with rings that refuse to get in place. In that case drop them all except the 4 you want to wear. Put them in place then take back the others you just dropped.
