savegame editor
question: i went to the site to use the save game editor, and i clicked on 'Savegame editor/Cheat utilities' and it brought me to all these download thingies... do i have to download the program to edit my games? [QUOTE=furio]Now, just click on your dive(C, D, or what ever your drive's letter is) then click on the "Program Files" folder, after that click on the "LucasArts" folder, & then click on the "SWKotOR2" Folder, inside there is a configuration file call
swkotor.ini
Sometimes you can't see the .ini extention of the swkotor.ini file, so swkotor.ini file will only show the notepad & on-it a gearing logo, see picture below :
http://67.18.37.16/2057/116/upload/p5203828.gif
Open it(with notepad), now its like a notepad & you'll remark that its devised in section, add this sentence:
EnableCheats=1
At the end of the section:
[Game Options]
see picture below to see where to write this:
http://67.18.37.16/2057/116/upload/p5203843.gif
Like i said its working like notepad so, click on "File" & choose "Save" & close it.
Now while in game press the Tilde key, its one of those on your key board:
~ (US/CAN)
' (US)
` (US/CAN)
² (Europe)
& its alway located on the left of "1" on your key board.
Once you've press this key, enter the wanted cheat code, Beware that you won't see any console like in jediknights2, you type in blindly so, becareful of the syntax coze if you mis-spell, the cheat will not work.
Good Luck & Have Fun!
BTW, if you don't want to do all this to cheat, just download & use this(KSE) Kotor SaveGame Editor:

Heil und guten Tag FLOW, first of all, like Alcina point out, your playing the Kotor 1. Second, no the 1.03 update version will not disable the cheat fonction & in fact, its best to play Kotor 1 with it.
I don't know what is the key combination of the German keyboard, i had many german over my website & they all seems alright with the sets of combination that i provide. So, inconclution the only thing that i can do with you is, going through all the sets of key combination known to me, ok? your ready?
1- try to press the Tilde key, its one of those on your key board:
~ (US/CAN)
' (US)
` (US/CAN)
² (Europe)
& its alway located on the left of "1" on your key board.
2- try to press simultaneously "Left CTRL" & "Left SHIFT" then hold them, then release them & quickly hit "Tilde"
~ (US/CAN)
' (US)
` (US/CAN)
² (Europe)
& its alway located on the left of "1" on your key board.
Now, before you try the next sets of combination, go back at editing your .ini file. Go at the end of the section:
[Game Options]
And under the sentence:
EnableCheats=1
Add this sentence:
EnableConsole=1
Now save it.
3- holding simultaneously the right Alt & 7 then release them & hit again the 7.
4- holding simultaneously the right Alt+9+6.
5- hold simultaneously the right Alt & 7 then release them & hit again the 7 & pause the game.
If you've done the right set of combination you'll see this character:
>
It will appear in the top left corner of your screen, then enter the wanted cheat.
Gutes Glück und haben Spaß!
