v1.9 Patch Problems

I know it may be too early, but I downloaded the v1.9 patch and tried to extract it as directed, but during the middle of the extraction I received an error: "Could not read file." Now this occurred as it was overwriting some of the other files I already had downloaded, from v1.8 (which I expected). This is the first time I have had problems extracting one of the patches. Any clues or ideas, or has anyone else encountered this?

As do I. Has anyone gone ahead and played with the patch as is, in spite of the corrupted file?

I have not tried it yet, as it was incomplete. I did send this same post to PlanetVampire.com to see if one of the tech gurus knew anything about it. There are some other folks that are trying to get in contact with the creator to let him know. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Thanks for letting me know I wasn't the only one.
