I just wanted to know where can you get some of the most rareest lightsaber cystals from in Kotor II? I wanted to know because I haven't yet had one in my hands as far as I know. would anyone be glad to help a fellow Jedi out by assisting in telling me where you can get the Viridian cystal from? is that that the rarest lightsaber cystal in the game? Is there any other rare cystals in the game? could some one be nice enough to help me.
If you mean interms of color this has definitely been discussed before, try searching for better answers. However I hate searching myself and will try and save you some trouble : I'm pretty sure the answer everyone agreed on is that most of the colored crystals in the game are placed randomly. Some (such as viridian or silver) are rarer than others and only show up in certain places, but the exact color will be random. For example I've found a viridian and a cyan in different games ie. not at the same time (both of which I believe are of the rarer type) but have yet to ever find a silver one, even though I've played through twice. Hopefully some others will help enlighten you, but I'd try a search for some immediate answers .

well, you learn the forms based on class, the jedi masters teach them to you.
The viridian crystals are another story, you get them by either finding them in the crystal cave on dantooine, or by finding them randomly, for example, I pulled an ultima pearl (very powerful cyrstal) from the body of some merc on Onderon. You could also get a viridian crystal from one of the lightsabers you find, On my current game, I am finding tons of raer weapons, rare crystals, and awesome implants. So far I have found two silver, and a cyan crystal, i almsot never find those... be patient, the crystal will come to you, if not, silver looks better in my opinion.
Also for thos up and coming sith lords and ladies, try out an orange crystal in your saber rather than a red, In my opinion they look about the same but the subtle differences make the orange the best.

If you really want one, just wait, or visit Geeda on Nar Shaddaa after removing the other merchant (rumour?) or going to the scavengers on Dantooine.
Any lightsbaer colour can become rare. It all depends on how the game goes, but I think that that has been talked about before, and quite throughly too.
@ Phreddie: I don't think she mentioned forms, but if you did, Bastila, then some of them can only be learned by a certain class, and some of those, such as force forms, are almost entirely in the ballpark of the consulars.

your supposed to talk to Geeda after talking to the jedi master on Dantooine, and after the Mercenary/Militia war. talk to Geeda about opening new trade routes and you'll get a Silver lightsaber crystal from him, you gotta buy it though. about the Virdirian (or the bright green one) you gotta complete the Onderon/Dxun stuff, and you'll get robes, the lightsaber crystal, and other stuff i cant remember.
As far as I can remember you get the ossus keeper robes, IIRC they give a good wisdom and charisma bonus, a viridian crystal, and i tihnk ossus lense or gloves... its got a tihng for ossus what can i say.
Also you just have to be extremely lucky for soem of them.. my current game of all 7 of my light sabers, i have 3 that came with silver cyrstals 2 that came with cyan and two with green. and i have found a ton of awesome upgrade crystals, the lorddian gemstone is extremley powerful for one who uses lightsaber defenslively rather than offensivley (+2 defense +3 blast defelct) the ultima pearl and the quiixoni is a constant on ONderon, if your DS you can give an open star port visa to Sakarie, and get a sword, 5k credits, or the QUixooni crystal.
does any one know of any other colored cyrstals beside teh ones mentioned, for example a blood red, or a gold, maybe even magenta or something really just wierd but awesome looking? I personally think a gold saber would be awesome.
As for the salvagers on Dantoine, you find beter crystals in the sublevels than you can buy from Daraala (lady you buy salvage form), all she has are a few upgrade crystals and a yellow and maybe a red color crystals.
the best bet is to save outside of the kinrath caves, and go inside check for crystals, then if you didnt find what you wanted, reload and go abck in, if im not mistaken it resets what ever crystals you find.

I have played through twice to the mid section (on my first time around I lost my game and had to start over) and now in my current game ... I don't know if this is coincendence or not, but when I describe my light saber in the beginning of the game, the color I chose is the color I find when I get to telos (brothers) merchents (purple the first time, silver the second). Anybody else notice this?
No, that is one example in which the random item creator does not function. Whatever colour you said your lightsaber was is the colour of the crystal that you will recieve on Telos.

I've found a Veridian cystal in one Onderon's Treasure Rooms in the Palace.
An amba like crystal in Freedon Nadds tomb. Right at the end. When Xarger asks if you want to leave tell him you want to look around for a bit, then go to the back of the tomb and their should be coffin in the back you can open up and recieve a lightsaber with the crystal.
Err? Ah... Silver. I rememeber you can pick one off Sions corps when you kill him in on Malachor V. But I have also picked one up earlier than that before, I just can't rememeber where or what planet...?
Unfortunately, many of the crystals you mentioned may just be part of the random item generation system... very few items actually follow through from game to game.
