Need help with Yoshimo(Spoiler)

Is there any way to keep Yoshimo in the party after he betrays you and you have to kill him in Spellhold?

Never without cheating such or another way.
There is a way (eliminated by one of Baldurash patches, so take care) to leave him back in Atkhala and get him on return (rejoining before he dies and resurrecting). Not a known way to avoid killing if you take him to Spellhood (save if Ctrl-Q might help).

I wonder if the statue in the abyssal pocket plane might be able summon Yoshimo if you didn't bring his heart to the Ilmater temple?

@Trym AHAHAHAHA that's EXACTLY what I thought, and that's exactly what I did...and....NO you can't.

Oh well, it was a good effort.

BTW one of the older tricks was to use an imprisonment spell/scroll on him before going to Asylum. And then just Freedom his butt afterwards. But this might've been fixed with later patches, but I doubt it.

P.S. Flesh to Stone will not work, he will just shatter as soon as he re-enters your sight after returning from asylum.
