Graphic problem! HELP!

Guys I ve got a really annoyoing problem. Thing is I don't get my lightsaber glowing in both Kotors even though I have Frame Buffer option on. I play on Radeaon 9550 which supports direct 9,0b. My friend has Geforce 5200 and he can enjoy his lightsaber glow... what might be causing this isseue?

Every single one in both Kotors but still i ve got speed blur and force wave effect...- all except lightsabers

Only your lightsabers? Did you have any problems during installations of the game? It may have skipped files related to light saber glow.

Lightsabers won't glow, eh? There's a first.

Well I have no idea what would be causing that, but if it's not affecting the use of the Lightsaber in any way I'd just forget about it.
We all have had those games on our computer that just wouldn't work as well as it could have, somtimes it's just best to ignore it and enjoy the game the way it is.

Well obviously you re right but...

still It was my first and the last radeon ever... And how could I enjoy the game while it works.... not fast enough ... with no reason... - as I wrote my friend has a computer which is worse than mine and he can enjoy Kotor on high detals (AMD 1300,5200 Geforce, 256 Ram) while mine is (AMD Sempron 2500,9550 Radeon and 512Mb ram)??? Explain that to me.....??

Are you using the latest ATI drivers?

My understanding is the "bloom" effect used with lightsabers was broken in the earlier version 5 catalyst drivers, and was fixed without fanfare quite recently (5.10?).

Frankly ive got 5.3 so.... but maybe this is it... I would try to download new catalyst... If that won't help....then God help me save 300 $(AU) on Geforce 6600Gt - this should solve the problem.....completely.

Well I suppose it'd take some enjoyment out of the game...
But, I still think it's not that big of a deal.

My lightsaber showed up as a putrid yellow when it was supposed to be green. All red either showed up as white or black. Everyhtin had a green glaze, but I didn't notice.

Perhaps there is a patch to help you? Have you looked at waht the patches currently fix?

Ok guys... I downloaded Catalyst 5.11 and ....Yeah I ve got beutiful glow as beautiful as Bastila's face when she's angry

...anyway thanks everybody... And lets wait patiently for Kotor 3....but still I would buy Geforce 6600 GT.

By the way Ive been through the game few times on my P3 650 with Geforce2mx , now I expected something more on my new mashine...
