Ok folks, I'm in need of advice from the peanut gallery. How is it a "good" person would respond to an ex blurting out that they're entirely too frustrated and their partner is incapable of fixing that, and that youare the person who was able to fix that previously?

The red guy in my head is choking the air supply off from the guy with the halo, and now I'm feeling evil.
